FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything you need to know about your crown
What is Raw Hair?
Raw hair is the highest quality hair on the market — 100% pure, unprocessed human hair sourced from a single donor. The cuticles remain intact and aligned in one direction, giving you softness, strength, and longevity. It comes in its natural state (straight, wavy, or curly), with no steam, chemicals, or dyes involved.
Each bundle is slightly unique in pattern — that’s how you know it’s real. But don’t worry, the variation is subtle enough for a seamless blend.
What’s the difference between Raw, Virgin, and Synthetic Hair?
Here’s the breakdown:
Raw Hair: Completely unprocessed. No steam. No chemicals. No color. Just pure luxury.
Virgin Hair: Lightly processed (usually steamed) to achieve uniform textures.
Synthetic or Mixed Hair: Chemically processed blends that don’t last long or style as well.
Raw hair is rare, natural, and built to last — which is why it’s an investment.
Why is Raw Hair more expensive?
Raw hair is the crème de la crème — and quality comes at a premium. It’s hand-collected, unprocessed, and carefully preserved. Think of it as couture for your crown.

Does Raw Hair need special care?
Yes — treat it like it’s growing from your scalp. Use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, detangle gently, and keep it moisturized. The better you care for it, the longer it lasts. Visit our Hair Care Guide for a full breakdown.
Do not use Silicone Mix. It can dry out raw hair and cause breakage.
Can I bleach or color the hair?
Absolutely. Our raw hair can lift to 613 blonde with proper technique. We do recommend having a professional handle color treatments. After bleaching, use deep conditioners and hydrating products to keep your crown soft and shiny.
How many bundles do I need?
Here’s our guide based on length and fullness:
-
12”–14” → 2–3 bundles
-
16” and longer → 3–4 bundles
-
Each bundle weighs 100g (3.5 oz). The longer the hair, the shorter the weft.
Does the hair shed?
All hair sheds slightly — even your natural hair. But with proper care, our bundles shed minimally.
To reduce shedding:
Never sew through the weft — sew around it
Avoid excessive cutting of the weft
Keep your bundles moisturized and detangled
